Eating Disorders.
As sad as it is, eating disorders intrigue me. Whether it's anorexia, bulimia, or even compulsive overeating, I am very curious about the people with these disorders and their daily life. Using the google blog search, I've come across many blogs which encourage girls to be anorexic or bulimic, often called 'Pro Ana/Mia' sites. I find this extremely sad. I know the people running these sites are obviously sick themselves, but I don't know how they could wish the hardships of these diseases upon anyone. These people should be encouraging people to seek help, the help they wish they were strong enough to seek.
It's scary to think of the girl in the video. I think most women have body image distortion to some degree, but for it to be that extreme is so scary. I once watched a video on youtube of a women showing what she eats when she binges. Binging happens often for both anorexics and bulimics, both ending in purging of the consumed food. The amount of food she ate made me sick to my stomach. It was probably more than I could eat in two or three days.
It's a sad, sad illness with seemingly no end in sight for the women facing it.

I had an eating disorder in high school. I barely weighed 100 pounds. Its really frustrating for me to have to TRY and lose weight when I know I can just go back to what I use to do.
